Many member companies preferred to have an informal compilation of input on these papers submitted by ICC instead of having particular comments attributed to their company alone. In addition, despite the challenging timeframe for public comments on these documents, it is important that business from around the world provide input on these critical policy issues that are being discussed.

The papers and all comments submitted during the public comment period are posted on the WGIG website at: http://www.wgig.org/meeting-april.html

Condensed version of the Global Action Plan for Electronic Business
(3rd edition - July 2002) (.pdf - 52 pages)
This document establishes a set of fundamental principles as the basis for the framework in which policymaking for electronic commerce should take place and presents a proposed framework for action that has been agreed to by the world's leading international business organizations that are working together to provide business leadership, in cooperation with governments and others. The plan describes business actions and commitments in concrete terms and identifies business expectations of government action.
