To respond to growing demand from the business and legal communities, ICC will open a dedicated facility in Paris on 20 October for arbitration hearings and other forms of commercial dispute resolution.
The ICC Hearing Centre will be available for any kind of institutional or ad hoc arbitration hearings as well as for the conduct of amicable dispute resolution (ADR) procedures. It will be the first such facility in Paris.
“ICC has many years of experience organizing hearings and mediations at its headquarters in Paris. It has drawn on this experience to create the custom-designed Hearing Centre,” said Jason Fry, Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
The 800-square-meter Hearing Centre offers flexible packages and a range of facilities, including:

Three large rooms designed for hearings and meetings that can seat up to 40 people. The rooms are 70, 90 and 110 square meters.

Seven rooms for breakout sessions and smaller meetings of up to 18 people

Telephone/fax

Wifi/ISDN connections

Simultaneous translation equipment

Video conferencing equipment

On-site catering for coffee breaks and meals

Special requests for services and facilities will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
The use of services and facilities will be packaged according to users’ needs. Rates will be based on the package of facilities required. The Hearing Centre will have flexible opening hours.
Reservations are now being accepted for use of any of the rooms after the opening scheduled for 20 October.
