In ICC cases filed in 2009, 16% of the parties in Sub-Saharan Africa were from South Africa and South Africa corresponded to 25% of the places of arbitration in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF) event, which will take place in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, on , will focus on South Africa as venue for international arbitration: current trends and future changes.
Young practitioners will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and to network.
