Since 1996, Mr Nilson has been collaborating with ICC and has worked on the Paction application and the development of the Instadox system, the main aim of which is to provide simple and direct, but robust electronic functionality for trade transactions.
Mr Nilson has been a major contributor in the development of electronic negotiable documents including Bolero, taking the initiative from its original concept, through a pilot system sponsored by the European Commission to the commercial Bolero joint venture between SWIFT and the TT Club.Mr Nilson has also been involved in many other EC funded projects including MandateTM and Comets.

Mr Nilson holds a Master's degree of Laws from Uppsala, Sweden. Throughout the 1980s he worked in the London marine insurance market. In 1988, Mr Nilson founded Marinade Limited, an electronic commerce consultancy, in London, which has offered consultancy to many major blue chip clients over the years, specialising in legal aspects of electronic commerce, EDI for the insurance and transport sectors, security issues and management issues. With the creation of Allagraf Ltd. in 2000, the focus has been on the development of secure applications for trade.
