Mark A. Reutter is a partner with the Zurich law firm Walder Wyss & Partners. Born in 1964, Mark Reutter was educated at the Universities of Zurich and Lausanne . He was graduated from the University of Zurich School of Law in 1989, obtained a doctorate in law in 1992, was admitted to the bar in 1995 and received an LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 1998. Before joining Walder Wyss & Partners in 1995, Mark Reutter worked as a research and teaching assistant with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and as a clerk with the Zurich District Court’s bankruptcy section. During 1999, he was as a foreign associate with the law firm Morgan Lewis in New York.
Mark Reutter is a member of ww&p’s IT, IP and Competition group with responsibility for the areas of technology, communications, arts and entertainment. His practice focuses both on a comprehensive advising of clients who are active in the information and technology field and on the advising of corporate and private clients in relation to technology, intellectual property and bankruptcy matters. He cares for the structuring, negotiation and implementation of projects, contractual matters and commercial and insolvency related questions.
Mark Reutter has frequently written and spoken on topics related to his practice, including topics on technology law, bankruptcy law and art law.
