ICC Arbitration procedure

ICC Arbitration is conducted under the ICC Rules of Arbitration in effect on the date of commencement of the arbitration, unless the parties have agreed to submit to the Rules in effect on the date of their arbitration agreement (Article 6 (1)).

The current version of the ICC Rules of Arbitration came into force on 1 January 2012.

Unlike many other institutions, the ICC International Court of Arbitration monitors the entire arbitral process, from the initial request for arbitration to scrutiny of the draft final award. The Court can even assist parties in complying with whatever formalities may be necessary to enforce an ICC Award.
