In 2011, 34 theses have been competing for the ICC Institute Prize.
2011's laureate is Claire Debourg with the thesis entitled « Les contrariétés de décisions dans l'arbitrage international ».
Ms Debourg is doctor of law at Université Paris 10 Nanterre, France. The director of her thesis was Prof. Francois-Xavier Train.
ICC named Denis Mouralis of France the Laureate of the second ICC Institute of World Busienss Law Prize for his thesis "Arbitration confronted to Parallel Proceedings".
Mr Maisonneuve won a special mention from the jury for his works on Arbitration and Sport.
The Laureate of the first edition of the Prize (2007) is Vincent Chantebout for his thesis "The prohibition of the review on the substance of the arbitral award".
The special mention from the Jury was awarded to Charles-Emmanuel Côté for its works on "The participation of private persons in the settlement of international economic disputes: the enlargement of legal standing in the WTO".
