note that each bar/institution has different procedures for obtaining
credits and thereforeparticipants should contact their
bar/institution directly.Participants
attending an ICC training or conference will receive a certificate of
attendance in the materials. This certificate should be kept and used
when contacting the relevant bar/institution regarding obtaining
credits.

for by the FIF PL (Fonds Interprofessionnel de Formation
des Professionnels Libéraux). If you

If you are a trade finance professional
Our trade finance events are registered with the
London-based ifs School of Finance as courses for the Certified Documentary Credit Specialist Re-certification programme (CDCS*).
*The
Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS) is the
international standard qualification for documentary credit specialists,
developed by both ifsand the US-based International Financial
Services Association (IFSA) and endorsed by the International Chamber of
Commerce (ICC).
This
professional certificate allows practitioners to demonstrate that they
have acquired a special knowledge of the area and they have the
necessary skills. After obtaining the certificate and in order to use
the term CDCS, specialists must earn 24 units of credits development
every three years by attending trainings. People who have not
accumulated these 24 units of credits will have to retake the exam.
