ICC YAF is headed by the Global Coordinating Committee which coordinates the five Regional Chapters and their Regional Coordinating Committees.

The ICC YAF Global Coordinating Committee (GCC)

• The ICC YAF Global Coordinating Committee is based at ICC Headquarters in Paris.
• The Global Coordinating Committee participates in the selection of Regional Coordinating Committee members and is responsible for overall coordination between the five Regional Chapters.

ICC YAF Regional Chapters and Regional Coordinating Committees (RCC)

  • Each Regional Chapter is composed of the relevant ICC Regional Director and that region’s Regional Coordinating Committee composed of several members. The Regional Director will work with the Global Coordinating Committee to select members of the Regional Coordinating Committee. The members of the different Regional Coordinating Committees have been nominated in July 2011 for a term of three years.

  • Regional Coordinating Committee members will operate semi-autonomously but under the guidance of their Regional Director to ensure that the Regional Chapter achieves its goals. Notably, promoting and developing the Regional Chapter’s network of young practitioners, organizing Regional Chapter event, etc.

Lara Hammoud is a Senior Associate in Shearman & Sterling’s International Arbitration group. She joined the Firm in 2008. Before joining Shearman & Sterling LLP, Lara spent six years at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). She was for four years Assistant Counsel in the Secretariat of the ICC Court of International Arbitration, where she managed arbitrations with a particular focus on the Middle East. She was then promoted to Director of ICC Dispute Resolution Services and the Secretary to the ICC Commission on Arbitration. Lara is a French qualified lawyer and holds a DESS in International Commercial Law from the University Paris X and an LLM in Commercial Law from the University of Bristol. Anne-Sophie Julienne is an international arbitration practitioner called to the bar of England & Wales, Paris and Mauritius. She has recently returned to her home country Mauritius, to practice in this field and is hoping to contribute to the development and promotion of Mauritius as a new international arbitration center targeting principally big ticket international arbitrations involving African parties.
Prior to returning to Mauritius, Anne-Sophie practiced as en employed barrister in London for 8 years working in the Dispute Resolution Department of Weil Gotshal & Manges and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom after completing her pupilage at the leading construction law set of Chambers, Keating Chambers.

Kolawole Mayomi graduated in the top 5% of his class from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2001. He was subsequently admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2003 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
He commenced active legal practice as an Associate in Chambers of Chief I. N. Umezuruike (SAN) & Co., a firm renowned for its depth in commercial litigation, in Aba, Abia State in 2003. Subsequently, he joined the Dispute Resolution team of the law firm of S.P.A. Ajibade & Co, Lagos, where he is currently a Senior Associate.
Mr. Mayomi is an arbitration specialist, who has developed considerable skills and experience in conducting arbitral proceedings in domestic as well as international arbitral proceedings. Greig has worked on numerous International Arbitration matters for both claimants and respondents, under various institutions including ICC, ICSID, DIAC, SCC and the Zurich Chamber of Commerce. Greig has also provided assistance to counsel and management regarding different aspects of purchase price disputes including financial analyses and negotiation positions. Services have included cost analysis in relation to hardship clauses, pricing studies, revenue projections, determination and evaluation of claims for economic loss, and specialized accounting issues under US GAAP, IFRS and UK GAAP. Other notable engagements include assisting the court-appointed Trustee in one of the world’s largest bankruptcy proceedings of a financial institution, post-acquisition due-diligence of European banks, and an internal investigation and provision of investment accounting expertise to a $5bn hedge fund.
Greig received a B.A. (Hons) in modern history from the University of Manchester, England, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He also took a year out of his profession to participate in the BT Global Challenge Round the World Yacht Race aboard SAIC La Jolla in 2004-2005, circumnavigating the globe on a 72’ yacht.
