A Transnational Chamber of Commerce is a group of chambers, representing chambers within a geographical region, economic grouping, cultural or language basis. Transnational Chambers can be found in most regions of the world. The only region which does not have a Transnational Chamber at this time is North America (Canada & USA). Transnational groupings of chambers play a very important role in WCF's work. Where such relationships have been very close, ICC WCF has often signed Memorandums of Understanding, reinforcing the closeness of our ties. Such agreements have been formed with theConfederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce & Industry(CACCI), Asean Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Junior Chamber International(JCI), Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Central America (FECAMCO) and Association of Latin American Chambers of Commerce & Industry (AICO). WCF also has very close ties with other groups including Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce (ASCAME), Eurochambres, Baltic Sea Chambers of Commerce and the Islamic Chambers of Commerce. To foster ties and awareness of these types of chambers, WCF has created the Transnation al Chambers of Commerce Forum. This annual Forum serves as a means for transnational chambers to learn more on the latest programmes and developments of their peers, develop partnership and foster networks between their institutions, and explore common areas of interest and projects. A complete listing of Transnational Chambers of Commerce can be found in the WCN Chamber of Commerce Directory (www.worldchambers.com). Meeting dates for the Executive Board and General Assembly sessions of transnational chambers and leading national chambers.
