Peter Mihok

Peter Mihók is President of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as Deputy President of Eurochambres Brussels. He also holds a Ph.D., Ass. Professor at the University of Economics, Bratislava
He has been active in the chamber movement since his first post at the Czechoslovak Chamber of Commerce in 1971, moving up the ranks to be Vice President by 1990, becoming President in 1992.
Peter has been active extensively on the international scene with his career including posts as Director, Department of Foreign Relations of INCHEBA - Foreign Trade Company from 1982-1990, as well as working as Director of International Politics, Department of Foreign Relations from 1990-1991.
Peter has been instrumental in working on Slovakia's accession to the EU holding various posts including:
Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Slovak Republic for the European Communities (1991-1992)
Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Slovak Republic for European Communities and the head of the delegations at negotiations on association of the Slovak Republic to the European Communities (1993)
President of the Board of Directors - Association of Economic Development and Revitalization (1993-1995)
