US first for ICC arbitration workshop
Paris, 30 April 2007

Taking place in San Francisco on 10-12 June, the workshop will enlighten participants on strategies and tactics in drafting arbitration documents under the ICC Rules.

For the first time in the US, the ICC International Court of Arbitration will host a two-day arbitration workshop. Taking place in San Francisco on 10-12 June, the workshop will enlighten participants on strategies and tactics in drafting arbitration documents under the ICC Rules.

"The workshop has tremendous value, it will give participants an opportunity to hear about the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of documents and related issues from current and former members of the ICC Court and its Secretariat,” said Josefa Sicard Mirabel, Director for ICC arbitration and ADR in North America. “It will also be a unique chance to exchange ideas and glean insight from experienced practitioners."

A mock case, studied within small working groups, will take participants step-by-step through the arbitration process and is a major highlight of the workshop.

Anyone involved in international arbitration – from lawyers and advisors to business people involved in international trade and dispute resolution – will benefit from the expertise of the distinguished arbitration specialists who will lead the workshop discussions and drafting sessions

To ensure maximum interactive participation, the number of participants for the workshop will be limited and early registration is strongly recommended.

P articipants in this workshop are eligible for 15 CLE credits, 12.5 MCLE credits, or 12.5 CPD hours.
