contributing to the health and dynamism of their economies. This publication
highlights the needs for the needs for specific SMEs policies to encourage the
contribution th

in Asia, the Handbook provides a framework for assessing policy options and

ICC recently joined UNCTAD in conducting a worldwide
survey of leading multinational companies. The survey found that overall confidence
in East and South-East Asia as a destination for foreign direct investment remains
unshaken, despite the financial crisis in the region. The results were based
on replies from 198 firms of 500 polled an impressive response rate of
40%. The survey was conducted in mid-February.
