ICC site
is now easier to navigate
Paris, 28
June 2000 - Changes
have been introduced to ICC's home page to make it easier for visitors to find
their way to topics of their choice and discover the organization's many worldwide
activities.
The number of items on the
left-hand menu has been reduced to nine broad subject headings. Place your cursor
on any one of them and you get a more detailed pop-up menu.
For example, all 20 business
subjects covered by ICC, from advertising to transport, are included under "Business
topics". Each is just one click away.
Click on "Conferences"
and you will be taken to a programme of coming events, reports of past conferences,
and the Institute of World Business Law, which runs its own programme of training
seminars on the law of contract, arbitration and related topics.
Under "Products",
you will find links to ICC's Business Bookstore, all ICC codes, rules and model
contracts, Incoterms, information on ATA Carnets with links to national issuing
bodies, and items on documentary credits.
All ICC policy statements
are listed chronologically. They are also available under their respective subject
headings.
"Services" takes
you to the different parts of the organization, including the ICC International
Court of Arbitration, Commercial Crime Services, the International Bureau of
Chambers of Commerce, ICC Publishing, national committees, and the policy commissions.
All are also accessible from other parts of the site.
"Chambers" is
the link to ICC's role in the chamber of commerce movement worldwide through
its International Bureau of Chambers of Commerce. The heading also takes you
to the World Chambers Network, an online business opportunities service.
Learn how companies and
business associations can join ICC under "Membership". Under this
heading, you will find all the benefits of membership and links to leading member
companies. "About ICC" is another path to general information about
the world business organization and how it works.
