How and where to get your passport for goods

From sports events to rock concerts - ATA Carnets can bring in the equipment

Paris, 20 November 2001 - ICC introduces its portal to ATA Carnets - the international customs document that permits duty-free temporary imports of goods for up to one year.

Businesses that want to use the Carnets for hassle-free cross-border transport of commercial samples, professional equipment, or exhibits for trade fairs and the like, have only to consult the new site.

By clicking on the country of their choice, they will quickly find just where they can obtain their passports for goods in 58 countries.

The Carnets are issued exclusively through chambers of commerce and similar organizations affiliated to the ATA Carnet international guarantee chain. Our ATA pages will tell you all about the Carnet system and the types of goods it covers.

Why the picture of the U.S women's relay team celebrating gold ? Their gear could be imported duty-free courtesy of the ATA Carnet system.
