New Director takes over at ICC UK

Andrew Hope

London, 13 September 2003 - ICC United Kingdom is to have a new Director from 1 November. He is Andrew Hope, 48, who comes to ICC with extensive experience in business, including 14 years with Rio Tinto.

The appointment was announced by Sir Philip Watts, Chairman, Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies and Chairman of ICC UK.

For the past two years, Mr Hope has been an associate director of Cornwell Management Consultants, where he was responsible for their not-for-profit clients.

Mr Hope takes over from Richard Bate, who is retiring after12 years as Director of ICC UK.
