you need to know about the ICC 35th World Congress is just a click
away |
Paris,
1 April 2004 -
A new website, custom made for the ICC World Congress in Marrakesh, goes
online today, creating a one-stop internet portal for all congress news
and information.
The new site, www.iccwbo.org/congress,
has been designed as a source of information for congress participants,
interested web surfers and - importantly - the world's media.
The full congress
programme, continuously updated lists of speakers, corporate sponsors
and key congress participants, press releases, speeches and details about
congress events are all now just a mouse click away.
The site will be updated
daily in the lead up to the congress.
During the congress,
to be held in the Marrakesh Congress Centre, 6-9 June, the website will
be updated several times a day, to keep track of the congress' progress.
Press releases covering
major plenary speeches will be available on the site within hours of their
delivery. Stories about key congress events will be published on the site
within hours of them taking place.
The site has also
been designed to process media registrations, and inform congress participants
of all logistical arrangemen
ts in Marrakesh - from hotel bookings to local
tourist information.
For those interested
in receiving the Road to Marrakesh congress e- newsletters, produced monthly
in the lead up to the congress and keeping its subscribers abreast of
all late-breaking congress news, an online subscription form is featured
on the new website.
And full descriptions
of each of the five plenary sessions - including their respective list
of speakers - plus the six "in-depth" sessions are also on the
site.
