While enjoying the lively city of Rio de Janeiro, the participants will attend seven hours of interactive academic training disseminated over the week-end and have the opportunity to exchange experiences with in-house counsel, lawyers and members of the ICC Court Secretariat.

On Saturday 12 December, four themes will be developed by young lawyers as well as more experienced lawyers:

• Investment arbitration
• Cross-border insolvency and international arbitration
• How to get the best from the ICC Court Secretariat
• Who really wants to settle the disputes?

After lunch, the participants will be given a samba introductory class.

Before going to dinner, the participants will take part in a Symposium where they will have the opportunity to address questions for discussion; followed by a Masterclass with the very experienced Phillip Capper.

The Sunday morning will be devoted to some optional social activities and just before lunch Luiz Olavo Baptista will lead a Masterclass giving participants insights into his vast experience of international commercial arbitration.
